Receive up-to-the minute weatherfaxes worldwide! This
extremely popular program is written for Windows 95 and newer. This unit uses
a data buffer to solve problems typically encountered when trying to run DOS
programs in the Windows "enhanced Mode". Now true windows multi-tasking will
allow Weatherfax 2000 to run in the background while you continue using your
computer for other tasks. Weather fax transmissions are continually available
on single side band (SSB) frequencies between 4.5 and 23 mHz.
The program includes a palm-size
demodulator for USB linking your PC and radio. Used with your
SSB radio, this program offers many advanced image processing
and enhancement features. In addition to weatherfax, it provides
RTTY, FEC and NAVTEXT reception modes. Unattended operation is
possible by using a timer or scheduler. A database containing all the
world’s weatherfax stations is linked to the scheduler. The on-screen
tuning indicator is visible even while a fax is being received. System
