GPS PLOTTER
Plot GPS positions quickly and easily on your chart!
You also can read latitude and longitude of a chart position quickly. It works
because the two parallel rules are connected by a patented linkeage which forces
the two parallel rules to expand directly away from each other in a perpendicular
direction, without being able to move to one side or the other. There are handy
position plotting holes spaced along each side of the rules.
The plotter is
used by aligning it with a meridian line, and putting one of the holes at the
latitude of the fix. Then expand the rules to the longitude of the fix - and
plot on the chart through the corresponding hole!
Besides all this, they perform
the functions of ordinary parallel rules too. Plus, these are just about the
most over engineered rules we have seen. Thick shiny plastic, beautiful lettering
(with protractor markings), and gleaming metal pivots and knobs make this a
most impressive plotter. (Plath#130) SW 2 lbs.
