X9i GPS WATCH Suunto
The new Suunto X9i GPS watch squeezes a GPS, electronic
compass, thermometer, barometer and PC interface into a chic 2.8 ounce package. It also has an operating system that manipulates all of this data with only five control buttons. It is the world's smallest multifunction
GPS watch.
Whether hiking, travelling or boating, the X9i can be pre-programmed from a wide variety
of digital mapping software programs. For hiking, routes can be planned on National Geographic
Topo maps; and for marine use the Fugawi program (see elsewhere in this catalog) with it's wide
variety of raster and vector charts (even self-scanned charts) can be used for planning and
downloading to the X9i. At end of a trip, the track plot can be uploaded to the PC for analysis.

The internal battery is charged through an included USB cable connected to a PC, an included AC universal adapter, or an optional 12 volt cigarette lighter charger. The battery holds a charge for up to 6 hours with use of the GPS at a one-second fix rate, up to 12 hours at a one-minute fix rate, and up to two months without GPS use.
The X9i comes with a printed 40 page "Quick Guide", and a CD containing the Trip Management software and a longer more comprehensive User's Manual. Color of watch is black and silver matte. SW 3 lbs
